From I-55
- Take exit 252
- Travel East on Hwy 315 South for eight miles
- Turn right to enter John Kyle State Park Campground
To Park Office, Lodge, and Cabins
From I-55
- Exit 252
- Travel East 6.5 miles on Hwy 315 South
- Turn left on Spillway Road and continue to the 3 way stop
- Turn left at the 3-way stop located at U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Office
- Cross Spillway Bridge and continue on this road about 1 mile to the next 3 way stop
- Turn right entering the stone gates located at the park entrance
- Continue to the end of this road to the park office
VERY IMPORTANT
John Kyle State Park Campground is located on the lower lake.
The main park, lodge, and cabins are located on the upper lake.

Award-winning Mallard Pointe offers golfers the total package. With 18-holes and a complete practice facility, visitors can enjoy the very best Mississippi has to offer. The course features a 10 acre grass tee area and range with six target greens, practice fairway bunker, chipping green, and putting green. 350 yards from end to end, enjoy both sides to practice variable wind conditions or simply a change of view.
Sardis Lake is available for fishing and water sports such as skiing. A boat launch ramp is provided in the park. An entrance fee is charged for day use guests.
Visitor/Activity Building
The John Kyle State Park meeting room, located inside the lodge, can accommodate up to 75 people. Contact the park office for specific information on facilities, reservations, costs, and local caterers.
Playground equipment is available for children within the campground. The playground is only available to campers and cabin guests.
Stay The Night
John Kyle offers 100 developed camping sites, 18 cabins, and two golf villas.
John Kyle State Park offers 100 sites available for developed camping. Sites feature picnic tables, grills, water and electrical hookups. Bathhouse, laundry facility, and a central sewage dumping station are all conveniently located in the campground.
While there is no primitive campground, you may pitch a tent on one of the developed sites within the park.
Reservations are recommended and may be made up to 13 months in advance. Monthly camping may be available. Please check with the park office for availability.

John W. Kyle features 18 cabins furnished with basic kitchen equipment, utensils, dishware, and linens. All of the cabins are located near the water and have a fireplace, central air conditioning and heating. Ten of the cabins have two full size beds in the bedroom and will accommodate four people and eight of the cabins have a queen bed and full size bed in the adjoining den, accommodating a total of four people.
Laundry facilities are available in the campground area.
