Fishing Report - Updated 4/29/24

The boat ramp is open at this time.

Boat lanes have been cut to allow for easier access to different parts of the lake, but be aware that IDLE SPEED IS REQUIRED in these areas.  Channels are marked with red/green markers for main channels and gold markers for side channels.

BassBass fishing is excellent! The spawn is winding down but fishing continues to be very good. Bass are still in the 3 to 8-foot range and bigger fish are in the 5 to 8-foot range.
Crappie Crappie fishing is good but the reports are confusing. Some have been catching fish in 2 foot of water while others are off points in 20+ feet of water.
BreamBream fishing has been good and bedding activity is beginning to be seen. Crickets and worms along with small beetlespins are the baits of choice.
Catfish Catfishing is good. Often overlooked, the catfish almost always cooperate. Try worms, cutbait, stinkbaits, in deeper water off the dam.

Water Temperature:  70°F            Water Visibility: 30 inches

Please dispose of trash in barrels provided.
